These are academic centres whose research expertise complements the Centre's major research strands, and whose methodological approaches are commensurate with our mission statement.  These partnerships provide the opportunity for research networking, shared project management, and travel opportunities.

Birmingham Sexuality and Gender Studies research network, UK
Lisa Downing is the Professor of French Discourses of Sexuality, and is the convenor of research and programmes in Sexuality and Gender Studies, based in the College of Arts and Law at the University of Birmingham.
 
Sussex Centre for Intellectual History, (CIH), University of Sussex, UK
Professor Knud Haakonssen, Centre Director and Emeritus Professor Ian Hunter of the centre have had a long exchange concerning the history of early modern political thought, which has resulted in the first English translation of works by the German political jurist, Christian Thomasius.

Peter Harrison is a Senior Research Fellow at the Ian Ramsey Centre, and is involved in research projects hosted there.
